Welcome to the AQD, formerly AID, ex-apprentices Web Site

Thanks Neil
Sponsor the AQD address

AQD was a M.O.D. laboratory facility situated in Harefield, Middlesex tasked with maintaining standards within the UK aerospace industry. It was closed in the early 1980's and its' functions dispersed within other sections of the M.O.D.

This site is intended to provide a focal point for any ex-apprentices who have lost contact over the years, to assist in maintaining current contacts and to provide information on forthcoming formal reunions and the informal annual gathering that still takes place.

The more senior AID apprentices should also take a look at 'The Tubes'

The next event will be on

June 7th 2009
